Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa is looking for a full-time Guest Room Attendant / Housekeeper.

What you will be doing:
- Load and organize housekeeping cart, keep the cart clean and organized at all times.
- Service/clean assigned rooms to standards in a timely manner. This task includes changing linens, preparing the bed, cleaning and organizing the entire bathroom and living room, picking up trash, and refreshing guest amenities.
- Vacuum floors and change sheets, restock or replace all room and bath amenities, anticipate the guests’ needs and respond to their requests to assure guest satisfaction.
- Report any damage or mechanical issues in the resort and guest rooms.
- Follow proper safety practices.
- Follow the proper lost and found procedures.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with guests, to co-workers and supervisors.
- Be in proper uniform at all times.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Candidates must have the work permit and proper paperwork to be employed in the USA.
- Previous experience is a plus but not necessary.
- Flexible hours according to hotel needs, the candidate must be able to work on weekends.
- Ability to communicate with guests.
- Ability to stand for up long periods of time.
- Ability to provide friendly guest service with a smile.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight. (minimum of 50 lbs.)
