Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa is looking for a full-time Laundry Attendant.

What you will be doing:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items, including linens, towels and bed coverings.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect laundry for stains, tears, or damage and treat accordingly or report when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
- Track and report inventory levels of laundry supplies (detergents, softeners, etc.).
- Follow proper handling procedures for all laundry chemicals and adhere to safety protocols.
- Deliver clean laundry to designated areas as required.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards related to hygiene, safety, and customer service.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with guests, to co-workers and supervisors.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Candidates must have the work permit and proper paperwork to be employed in the USA.
- Previous experience is a plus but not necessary.
- Flexible hours according to hotel needs, the candidate must be able to work on weekends.
- Ability to communicate with guests.
- Ability to stand for up long periods of time.
- Ability to provide friendly guest service with a smile.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight. (minimum of 50 lbs.)
